Farsi is the name of an animation in motion graphics style, which examines the Persian equivalents of each word. This program was produced and delivered by the Saba organization in three hundred episodes. The Farsi animation series Farsi is one of the most extended animations made by the Iran Broadcasting Organization, which was created by the SEFIDGOOY Cultural Institute.
Pre Production
At first, the Persian Language and Literature Academy requested a motion graphic animation of words and their meaning and submitted it to the Saba Animation Organization (Iran Audio and Broadcasting). After that, the organization selected the SEFIDGOOY Art Cultural Institute to construct this collection and started cooperating with this project through detailed investigations among prominent studios.
After reviewing the project’s content, the whitewash specialists started to make prototypes until they reached the desired result and agreed with the client’s opinion. After making several trial parts, finally, the type of requested graphics was determined and with the approval of the organization, the SEFIDGOOY Art Cultural Institute started its work.
Production
The production of this project was done in several stages due to its extent. At the beginning of each stage, a list of foreign words and their Persian equivalents was handed over to SEFIDGOOY Art Cultural Institute from the Persian Language and Literature Academy. Then, a separate story was written for each word, different from the other parts. Writing different parts with different topics for 300 words and in 300 parts created a complex and difficult challenge for the ideation and writing team.
After writing each part, it was time to edit it. All parts were edited in terms of grammar and writing under the supervision of an expert from the Persian Language and Literature Academy to be ready to enter the stage of animation production.
Before making the final motion graphics, the script, approved by the Persian Academy of Language and Literature, went to the sound recording studio for dubbing and dubbing with professional voice actors in this field.
After recording the voices of the speakers, a storyboard was prepared for each episode based on the stories and was approved by the Saba organization. Then, based on the approved storyboards, the animation production for each episode started and the animation artists started to produce the animation.
Post Production
After the end of the production of each part, the parts go to the editing room for editing and sounding, so that the final operation of the sound sink and the final arrangement of the images and rendering for broadcast in Iran Broadcasting Organization is done.
The dynamism of the images, while attractive, was one of the most important points that experts and artists always paid attention to in Farsi animaion series.
